NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 2/26/2024: Maggie Moo - female - approx DOB 11/16/2013 - 10.4 pounds - Shih Tzu mix Reason for intake: We were contacted by a relative that sadly, Maggie Moo's owner has developed dementia and can no longer care for her. Dementia is a crushing disease to not only the patient but to the family as well. Many of us have experienced it as well with a family member. Maggie Moo was very loved and cared for and we will make sure she gets that same care in a new home. We don't believe there is any vetting we need to do because she came with vet records, but we will review and get her posted for adoption soon! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.
