Description:

Great Pyrenees Dog for Adoption in Spring, Texas, 98225 USNickname: Tootsie Posted Breed: Great Pyrenees / Labrador Retriever (long coat). Adoption Fee: $325.00. Hello my name is. Tootsie (but I've gone by "Leeta" since 2019 when adopted by my prior family). My nickname is "Lady," because I have a beautiful coat and am very elegant. I am a 6 year old Great Pyrenees mix. My favorite thing to eat is CHEESE and my favorite thing to play with is my foster siblings. I haven't expressed much interest in toys or bones, but I do love a cheese wiz filled Kong. My funniest quirk is sometimes I wiggle around like a worm when playing with my foster siblings and don't use my limbs much. It's energy efficient and really cute. What do I get in trouble for: Gently pawing and headbutting my dog crate door, and occasionally barking because I want out. I'd rather be out on patrol. What I dislike the most is being crated Don't like it one bit, but I'll let my humans usher me inside while on a leash. What makes me unique is I have the softest fur my foster parents have ever felt. Where do I sleep: I started in my crate but sleep on a dog bed or the floor in my foster parents' bedroom now. However, I'd rather patrol my home and my prior family said I roamed between each of their 4 kids' bedrooms to watch over them. I would sleep a little in each, rotating throughout the night. I do okay with car rides but they're not my favorite. My prior family said I pant a lot. I love taking leisurely walks to sniff all the plants in my neighborhood. I also love lying on the back patio when it's not too hot out. My prior family said I stayed with friends who had a cat and it went alright. They said I react to cats if I see them outside when on leash, but are not sure how I would do living with one. My perfect home would be a home with a fenced yard and a loving family who will take me for daily walks and other adventures. I have previously lived in another home with 4 little kids and the family said I was great with them, so I'd probably do well in another home with children. I've also been doing great with 2 resident foster dogs and might like having playful siblings, but I do need some occasional alone time to relax.
