Female; Beagle mix; 30 lbs; 8 years old. Hazel is a sweet, gentle heart. Low energy; follows you around house. Late sleeper; up at 9ish. She rises at her leisure and goes outside for potty. She LOVES car rides, head out the window; ears blowing in the wind! Great at dog park & boarding. Enjoys pets & rubs; doesn't demand them. Gets along w/other dogs. Needs a leash when outside or secure fence. She alerts when an animal/person is outside the house. Anxious during thunderstorms; takes medicine for this. She needs someone who can be home when this happens. She can be protective of her food & treats with other dogs, so she is supervised during feed & snack time.
