Georgia von Gartz is a beautiful, 5-year-old German Shepherd. She is very attached to her friend Henry, so we want to place them together. This beautiful, red-and-black girl with the cutest fox tail is a sweetie. One of her favorite things is giving kisses to all her favorite people. Georgia is also socialized around other dogs. She greets dogs well on leash and during playtime; in playgroup, she prefers the company of dogs with a calmer disposition. Georgia has a nice, medium-energy level. She eagerly heads out on her walks and takes guidance well. At home she enjoys hanging out with you. Georgia came to the rescue with her bestie Henry. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
