Meet Fender! Fender came to us this year with a group of other goats, all suffering from neglect. He had overgrown hooves, an unhealthy coat, and was underweight. After he arrived, his rehabilitation began. He was given a special diet, received all of his proper medical care (including castration), and had multiple corrective hoof trimmings. Before we knew it, Fender was healed and ready for adoption! Fender is a beautiful little goat with a strong, silly personality. When he arrived at Longmeadow, he had no trust in humans. It took a lot of socializing before the staff could safely handle him. Now, Fender is a new goat! He is still working on learning how to love and trust humans, but he has come SO far. Fender would do best in a home with children over the age of 13. Even though he has been castrated, he still enjoys spending time with female goats over male goats, so we believe he would do best in a home with other females to keep him company. Fender is a sweet boy who has come from previous neglect looking for a second chance at life. We believe with the proper socialization (and lots of treats), he has the potential to be a great addition to your family! Adoption Fee: $75.00
