Filip has now arrived to New England and the we just received such a positive first update from his local foster:He’s doing so well!! He’s cautiously curious and very interested in smelling and looking at everything. Then, he will come back to you to check in after wandering too far.He’s slept through the night without a peep and have been doing all his business outside.This boy is a huge snuggler who wants belly rubs and for you to hold his face. He’s the sweetest and super mellow. Sooooo gentle when taking treats and loves dinner time.Filip would do well in a home or even an apartment.Previous bio:Filip was part of the Fairview litter, a typical sweet litter of puppies that were picked up by a good Samaritan in Texas after being dumped in the country. Filip is now 1 year old and a pretty gentle boy. Out of all his brothers and sisters he is the shyest. He takes a little time to come out of his shell and warm up. He would do will in a home that is not overly busy, he likes to get to know people slowly. He does go out on adventures with his foster mom and is not afraid of the automatic doors any longer so that makes the fun places he goes more enjoyable now. If it is to overwhelming he will stick very close to his foster mom.He rides in the car well and does ok on leash, continued leash training is always a good thing to do with any dog that is new to you and you are new to them.The couch is his place to be, a good movie and snuggle is perfect for him. He loves to sleep in his crate at night and when he is with you he just wants to be close enough for you to pet him and pet him and pet him.... Filip has a great voice too, he does not use it very much but every now and then he has a howl. He really enjoys other dogs, he loves to do zoomies and play.
