Meet Key Lime! This kitten came into the Shelter as a stray after being found in a box with the rest of her litter at Rodeo Gulch. These kittens have been dubbed the “pie litter”. Key Lime is as sweet as her name implies. She enjoys hanging out with her sister Coconut Cream – snuggling and playing. They would be a great pair of kitties but also could be adopted out separately. Key Lime has been around other cats in the Shelter and has done well. A home with a resident cat is likely a fit with a slow introduction and management. We do not have history of her with dogs. A home with a cat-savvy dog may also be a fit with a slow introduction and management. Here is some info from their foster mama who they hung out with for a couple weeks: `Keylime is a very soft and elegant black panther. Initially a little skittish, she quickly decided that being petted was wonderful. Coconut cream is very friendly and I was able to give her medication quite easily. She’s an explorer on the independent side, but when tired, she would hang out on the couch with me. She boldly ran over to check out my friend’s dog through the window.` Key Lime’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund (a fund that promotes adoptable black cats in Shelters as they are often overlooked).
