Meet Lemmy! He was just transferred to our facility, so our care staff is taking their time to get to know him! Lemmy is a BIG o' gentle Giant that loves his treats. Lemmy will need work on his leash pulling, with being 100lbs! Lemmy will need an adopter that can handle his strength! His new family will need to follow-up with training sessions. Lemmy has already been evaluated at Barks and Recreation ($80 value) and their trainer would be happy to continue working with him and his new family. Training sessions will not only strengthen the bond between Lemmy and his new family, they will also form the foundation for a truly wonderful companionship. He does well in our Puppy Play group. If you have a dog at home, we will require a dog to dog meet and greet before his adoption day. Lemmy has been spending some time on our Doggy Daycation program, and this is what his foster had to say about him! Lemmy LOVES playing tug, scratches or just being pet and wants all the love and cuddles he can get. He is sensitive to noises and will bark when he hears a sounds or is spooked. He is protective over his person and can be reactive when people come to the door/gate. He is a big boy, but knows not to jump or grab things he is not suppose to and loves being inside with his person. Could that be you? Lemmy is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and will be microchipped on his adoption day! His adoption fee is $150, plus a $100 training deposit.
