Beetle came to us from a local shelter and is just trying to figure out if she's safe. Oh precious girl - you most certainly are now. She gets a bit more comfortable every day but being on a leash is still scary and new places make her shake. Beetle needs a home that will give her the time she needs and deserves to decompress. She is learning that humans make excellent snuggle buddies and we're eager to see her grow in her waistline and her confidence. **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application. We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.
