Hi! My name is Willow and I’m looking for my forever home! I live in a foster home where my foster mom adores me, she has been so impressed with what a sweet girl I am. I love all her other dogs – even the Chihuahua who barks at me and steals my toys! I don’t even mind the cat. My favorite things are to go for walks, play fetch and tug of war, run with my new friends in the backyard, snuggle with my foster family and just be around people. I’m still a young, so sometimes I do puppy things – but I'm working on them! I haven’t chewed any shoes and my foster mom is thankful for that! I'm learning to like my kennel even though I’d rather sleep on foster mom’s bed, but I’m learning that my area is my safe, sleeping place. I’m house trained, and I am learning commands like heel, down, sit and stay. I am only 40lbs, a good balance of energy– foster dad says I can jump like a deer, but I also lie down and take a nap with you if you are tired. One of my favorite things to do is curl in your lap and keep you company if you want to Netflix and chill (I’m really soft too!). My foster family says I’m a smart, good girl and deserve a home with people who will love me to infinity. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $750 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
