Evan is an active and resilient little budgie. Found outside on New Year’s Eve, Evan has shown us how he likely ended up out there. This little guy is full of spunk. If the food doors on his cage aren’t latched, he will open them and get out. He’s a strong flyer, doesn’t tire easily, and has a propensity for dive-bombing dogs in his foster home if he slips through an open door. Evan is also showing that he is very close to being hand-tame, stepping up consistently. A patient owner would find a great companion in him. We believe Evan will thrive in a home with other budgies, although we think he might influence them to also get into trouble! From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius.
