Did you know that Fanny means "free one"? It is also derived from a Spanish name that means "crown". I know that being trapped, spayed, and then kept in a kennel doesn't sound like freedom, but when it means that down the road I have a chance at a forever home, then yes, I'll take it. Being loved and cared for, having a person or people who make up my whole world, that would be freedom. I'm one of 15 cats in a TNR group. After we were spayed and neutered, we went to a foster home until we could get into the shelter. We're all outgoing, social cats. I was forever in a "bumping match" with Fantasia to get the most pets! I love attention. I'm a 2-year-old, orange tabby and white girl who even considers brushing to be an opportunity for attention. We all use the litter box appropriately, and we all eat Purina Cat Chow. Our foster mom said it was difficult not to overfeed, so beware! I'm not sure if there's such a thing as too much attention and affection though. I'm eagerly awaiting the day I'll be crowned "Princess" Fanny!
