Meet Betty Lou! Betty is the prettiest black girl with pretty yellow eyes! She is more of an introvert but is extremely lovable. She has one of the sweetest personalities and will throw her little body into your hand for more pets. She doesn’t mind being picked up and given a good squeeze hug. Betty can typically be found lounging in one of her cardboard boxes or on the softest blanket. She really is a simple kitty who is just looking for a home to give her lots of pets! Did you know that black cats use to be considered royalty? Ancient Egyptians used to hold these majestic kitties in high esteem because they resembled the goddess Bastet and were believed to carry divine energy inside them! And Betty is no exception – she has a cool and calm personality that just draws you to her. Betty is currently living in a wonderful foster home with her best friend Pocky! She would love to be adopted with Pocky but would also do great on her own. She is loving her foster home but is ready for a home to call her own! The adoption fee is $325 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
