Hansel came in when he was about 6 weeks old. Given his age, he would be fine with cats, dogs, kids, women and men! Socialization is key to their growth and development at this age. He will need lots of love, patience and understanding as he will take some time to learn the basics. He is a shepherd/labix and is just the cutest! He is on full swing biting and chewing on everything! When he was in foster care, he did well using his puppy pads, and going poop outside! He has since learned he really likes his area pretty clean, and does his business outside 90% of the time! His ears are really starting to go into “phase one” of being a shepherd mix. He's doing great on a leash and is working on the sit command. He's a bit lonely since his sister was adopted so he'll be so happy to join your family! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts. Please visit our website for additional information.
