Hans Christian Anderson got it right when he said, "Life is like a beautiful melody, only the lyrics are messed up." I'm Melody, a lovely, big 3 1/2-year-old black and white female. Do you love the unique markings on my face? My sister Harmony and I were abandoned by our owner, then passed around from home to home because no one could keep us. Now we are at the shelter. What does "forever" mean? It means "for always." No matter what. Naturally, coming to another new place has me feeling nervous, but after I warm up, I become my friendly self. I am okay about being picked up, but honestly, I'd rather not be. I like to be petted though. I play a little, and I love to watch the birds. A word of caution: I'm a "door-dasher," so my adopter needs to be alert to make sure that I do not get outside. It's not required that Harmony and I be adopted together, but we could go together.
