Hiya my name is Maple, and yes I'm as sweet as a maple! I have lots of energy and love playing with toys and other dogs! When you first meet me I am a little shy, but once I get to know you that will change. I am looking for a quiet home where I can relax in a sunbeam and be your faithful companion. I might be more of a homebody and will enjoy quiet neighborhood walks, but not crowded spaces. Because I am a little shy, I would prefer a home without young children. I have excellent manners and know how to walk politely on a leash. I graduated from The SPCA's highly regarded Ruff Start Program which pairs shelter dogs in need of extra care or attention with inmates at Salinas Valley State Prison for training and love.Maple is currently available by appointment.
