Boston was one of the adult bunnies rescued from the hoarding situation in an evicted trailer. This bunny likely had babies previously, her teeth were overgrown to her nose, and she was covered in Fleas. After a few months with us, she is doing well and has come to trust people again. She is a very calm and easy going bunny who enjoys her own space but being close to her humans. Boston is considered a special needs bunny due to her teeth needing to be trimming once every 1-3 months by the vet office. Our preferred vet office, Birch Island Vet Center, has graciously offered to do these trimmings regularly for $25 a visit. Due to this, her adoption fee has been reduced to $55 which simply goes to covering her scheduled spay appointment. Boston is scheduled to be spayed 09/22/23 at our vet office in Orange Park, FL. She may be taken home now as a pre-adoption, with the adopter agreeing to attend the spay appointment (pre-paid for by the rescue).
