Initially had a long period of teenage entry drama due to the stress of the shelter environment but with some time and schmoozing we seem to have made a break through. If you gauge her for a warm up period if needed, she presents as social and mostly tolerant if you befriend first. Then playful and treat motivated, a good candidate for postitive reinforcement training to keep her on the right track. Some light mouthing when excited so maybe not the smallest kids. Needs an interactive home dedicated to training and exercise off property, not just a `big backyard`.***Crated in the office for a brief bit of about an hour. Settled into the crate well, but was a bit vocal for attention. To crate train correctly, adopter must be prepared to wait it out and ignore that behavior until she learns that barking doesn`t work as an attention seeking behavior. The payoff of belonging in the heart of the family will be worth the effort for you both. Score: 73Dog to dog: Maintained a respectful exchange with a medium sized mature male dog. Later when acclimated more we had a play session with a medium sized male adolescent. They played well together but we did referee a bit as the male is goofy but somewhat of an emotional fragile flower. Until he learns to toughen up a bit and gain some more experience, they were not a match to leave unsupervised as she would get excited and overpower his smaller size and be herding breed nippy. Nothing inappropriate for her breed, but not a good match for those who do not play that way.
