FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED:Meet Champ! He is an affectionate and loving 1-year-old, 22lb Border Terrier mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA and is looking for his forever home. He is very handsome, smart, and great with people! His dog socialization is something to be worked on as he is reactive with other dogs, however we believe this is something he can work through with proper training and socialization. Champ has a good amount of energy making him a great adventure companion and best suited for an active household. He loves to play and go on walks and is very treat driven. He knows some commands such as “down”, “shake” and how to do a fancy sit. He is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.Adoption processInterested in adopting one of our rescue dogs? Here are the steps to a successful adoption: 1) Review the dog's picture and bio; 2) Fill out an Adoption Application 3) We will screen your application* and call you to tell you more about the dog, 4) A Meet and Greet will be set up. All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet; 5) If you are approved for adoption, pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog's health records; 6) Love and adore your new dog! *FHDR Adoption Application Privacy Policy: Our organization - Forever Home Dog Rescue - values your privacy. Any and all application information is private and will not be shared outside of our organization with ANY other party. After a decision is made on a dog, all applicant and adopter personal information will be disposed of by shredding. We do not retain any application information past adoption in an effort to preserve the security and privacy of applicants. Vaccination, microchip and medical records of adopted and current dogs can be accessed under the dogs name and month of adoption.
