Hello! My name is Flash.Nobody has ever told me exactly how I got my name, but considering my favorite thing to do is run around the yard, it seems fitting that my name would be Flash! I am 2 years old and have been living at Kindness Ranch since June. The sanctuary has been awesome but I am honestly not a big fan of living among the other dogs. In fact, I am hopeful that I can be the only dog in my forever home. A bonus for me, I wouldn’t have to share my food or my toys with anybody, which I really do not like to do. But, can you blame me?As with a lot of my beagle roomies at the sanctuary, I am looking for a family who is willing to help me come out of my shell and learn my personality with me. I am hopeful that once I am comfortable and trusting in my new environment, that my personality will shine brighter than it ever has. One of my dislikes is being touched and I need a family who will understand and respect that. Since I am shy, I’d prefer to go to a home without young children. Honestly, I think I’d be a great fit for a retired human or couple, or someone who worked from home.Do I sound like a good fit for your family? If you’re still thinking it over, I understand. But as a takeaway, think of me as a diamond in the rough. If you’re willing to be patient and put in the time with me to help build my trust, I will give you unconditional love for the rest of my years. All it takes is a little time for a lifetime of rewards!
