Truffles is waiting at the window for you (see first photo). She is a one-year-old 43 pound mixed breed (possibly part bully mix?) that came to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 7/14 as a stray. She is not spayed. I was met in her kennel with lots of wiggles! This is another case of the tail wags the dog! She's a happy, enthusiastic girl, and her enthusiasm is contagious. Sometimes she gets so excited that she jumps on you. However, she gets down when told to do so. Truffles loves people and wants to please! She sits for treats and takes them gently. She is highly motivated by treats. She even sniffed them in my pocket and got excited. She found a toy in the laundry room and tossed it around playfully! She's friendly and seeks your attention but not in an overbearing way. She's playful. When you sit down, she comes to you to have her ears scratched. If you're lucky she'll give you some kisses. She walks OK on a leash. She smelled some dogs in the bay but really wasn't interested. She was more interested in going outside. She has two small areas of hair loss, one on the top of her head and one on her rear. These areas are very minor. So Truffles is waiting for you. What are you waiting for?
