Description:
Auggie’s birthday is April 14, 2015, making him 8 years old. We’ve had him since he was a puppy. He would do best in a single pet home without any young children as he has shown some fearful anxiety towards our one year old. He does also have some resource guarding. He is a good dog but he does have anxiety and OCD symptoms that do require medication to keep him calmer and happier. These run about $20 or less a month. He’s a quirky little man and very smart. He loves playing outside but sometimes that is too overstimulating for him. He isn’t much of a talker but when he is hyper or ready to play, he will let you know. He loves to snuggle in bed or on the couch but doesn’t love to be petted and if he’s startled awake he will get scared and react with a warning. We are looking for someone to love him like we have, who is able to give him the space and attention that he needs. Someone who is patient and understanding of his quirks and who is willing and able to give him the best home.
