Meet Lucy *THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING* Meet Lucy! She’s a great girl looking for her forever home. We’re guessing she is a Heeler mix and she has the energy and drive to back that up. Lucy is happiest when she has something to do and is given plenty of exercise. She is used to 2-4 miles per day, but did even better when she was getting 6. She’d make a great running or hiking companion and is good on a leash, but can be reactive at times. Rides very nicely in the car or back of a truck and loves going on adventures. She was crate trained for almost 2 years, but has refused it for the past 10 months. Lucy is gentle and good with kids when she is paying attention, but sometimes forgets and may knock a little one over. She chases even the most confident cats so that needs to be considered also. A home with plenty of room to run outside would be ideal. She gets bored and finds trouble when she’s left alone indoors for long periods.
