Hi, my name is Allie and I am looking for a forever home where I can be a true family member. I believe I am Rhodesian Ridgeback and Lab mix. I am very kind and loving to my foster family and I’m learning my manners. I am comfortable in my kennel and I love the two other dogs in the house. I can sit for treats and I only bark if I hear new sounds or new voices. I love tummy rubs, and to run and play. I am still a puppy and still get goofy at play time. My mom calls me cougar because she says when I walk away, I look like a mountain lion because of my long tail. I know I could be your most loving companion and the best addition to your family. My dream home would be with an active family who has time to train me to be the best family dog. I would not do well being created all day. My must have in my forever home is a securely fenced yard and a family who wants to make me a part of the fam! I am not a good fit for an apartment or condo. Allie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $350 helps offset the rescue's medical expenses. After an application and a verbal interview is completed and it is determined that the adoption is a compatible match, a contract is signed with specific guidelines. An adoption fee (usually between $250-$500) to help off-set medical, feeding and Rescue costs is collected. The contract states that at any time the adoption does not work out, the dog is to be returned to our Rescue group for alternate placement. The dog is not to be 'given away' or 'rehomed' or 'taken to the pound'. If there are other dogs in the home, they must meet prior to adoption. All family members in the household have to agree to the adoption. No dog is to be adopted as a 'gift'.
