Rex is a young Pit Mix with soulful eyes who loves his people and walks around the block. Looking at this cutie, you’d never know what a horrific back story he has. :-( When we rescued Rex, he had bite marks and old, healed scars all over his body. He was so weak he couldn't even stand, so we immediately rushed him to the vet office, where he had to stay on medical boarding until he put on some weight and healed. Sadly, our Vet believes his wounds are consistent with being forced to dogfight. Rex will keep those scars forever, but luckily, he can leave his tragic past where it belongs- in the past. Rex is ready to find his forever family, on that will shower him with love and kindness.
