Meet John! He and his friend George came in as part of four cockatiels when the owner couldn’t care for them anymore. Unlike George, John is not yet willing to take treats from the hand and hasn’t shown much interest in leaving his cage yet, but he loves to chirp at the window and to other birds in his foster home. John also loves spray baths! Both John and George have arthritis in their feet and knees and would prefer a home that is accepting of less active companions, preferring their singing voices to being cuddly or playful. Adoption fee: $240 for both birds.Adoption processWhether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders.
