My name is Basil and I'm patiently awaiting a new family. I was rescued from right in front of Groovy Plants. You know the cool plant place that folks come from far and wide to visit? I was named after a favorite herb plant myself. Pretty cool huh? Well I've learned a lot during my tenure here at the HSofMC but it's time to move on to bigger and better things. A family to love, a home to settle in and arms to cuddle with. You can visit me at The ARC at 16 S Main St. Mt Gilead.Can't wait to meet you!!Adoption processWe have a downloadable and an online adoption application. This is the first step in our adoption process.Serious potenial adopters are welcomed, even if they have not completed an adoption application, to schedule a visit with one of our adoptable pets. We strive to match the adoptable pet and adopter. Upon approval, the adoption fee and contract is signed. All out-of-state adoptions will have additional requirements as part of the adoption process.Shelter locationPotential adopters can call us to schedule a visit.All of our adoptable pets are in foster homes.Adoption applications can be downloaded or completed online at www.hsofmc.org by clicking on the "Adopt Me!"
