Do you have a soft spot for a friendly, sweet senior? Clarence is your guy! Clarence has a wonderful soul - even though he's been around the block, this guy just wants love. Clarence loves to be by his people, and if you want an A+ snuggler, look no further! He is good with other dogs, cats are unknown. He seems to love all people. He has the cutest vocalizations when he wants to get your attention, but overall is a quiet, very easy going guy. House training is still a little bit of a work in progress as he has been focused on other prioritizes but is improving every day. He is still a little unsure of leashes, so a fenced in yard would probably be best for him. Clarence LOVES food though, so that is very helpful for his training! Clarence is estimated to be 10 years old and 31 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Please check our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ for confirmed attendance the morning of the event.Adoption processWe only adopt out animals to homes within 60 miles of the Twin Cities. Our adoption process begins with the return of our pre-adoption form, available on our website. After reviewing your application a meeting is scheduled between you and the pup, sometimes in the fosters home or at a neutral dog friendly place. If any resident dogs are in your home, it is recommended that the pups meet at this time. After the meeting a home visit is scheduled and if everything goes well with the visit the adoption is finalized at that time. A home visit by one of Safe Hands representatives is REQUIRED prior to finalizing any adoption and we must meet all members of the household where the pup will be living sometime during the adoption process.Shelter locationCome on out and meet all of our great adoptable pups!!
