This happy, friendly boy is Fritz and he’s an 8 1/2 year old red Doberman. He has super soft natural ears and a docked tail. He came to us with his sister when his elderly parents could no longer care for them. He was pretty used to spending a lot of time with his people since they were retired and therefore would do best in a family where someone is home frequently—I.e. retired, work from home, flex schedule, etc. He gets along with other dogs and would be fine living with a female dog. He’s shown a little too much interest in the kitties so far so at this point we’d say no kitties for him. Fritz is house trained, loves to go on car rides…or wherever you’re going, or running around the yard! He’s a tall boy and needs some room to move around so wouldn’t make a good apt dog. He would love to rest his head in your lap to get some ear scratches. Can you open your home and heart to a sweet senior?Adoption processAn application is required with references. Once references checked, home visit set up and completed. If the board approves the application and home visit, the applicant can meet appropriate dog(s) in the foster home of that dog.
