Caroline is an extremely sweet, cuddly, five year-old, healthy Brittany, who came into rescue when her owner died. Caroline is your typical Brittany who loves to run, chase birds in the yard, and swim. She has a very high energy level and will need an owner who knows the breed and can give her the daily exercise she needs. She is very docile and submissive around other dogs and wants to please. She follows basic commands fairly well.Caroline does have an extremely high prey drive: she will not be placed in a home with cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, pet birds, or any other small animals. Caroline will need a home with a good-sized yard that is securely fenced (at least 6 foot in height) so she can run zoomies. Caroline would do best in a home with another dog to play with. She would be fine in a home without children or with older, responsible children. Preference will be given to an owner where someone in the family either works from home or is home most of the day. Caroline has been through a lot of changes in a short amount of time since her dad’s death, and she has slight separation anxiety that should resolve over time as long as she has an owner who is patient and can build her self-confidence.Caroline is spayed, current or her vaccination, HW negative, and microchipped.
