Hello, my name is Artemis! I came to Minnesota with my momma and 9 siblings. My brave Mom had us on her own outside in Alabama and she hid us in a hole under a shed to keep us safe! Some wonderful people rescued us and we all came to Minnesota together when we were 10 days old. We have lived in a foster home ever since! My Momma and some of my siblings have found their forever families and I can't wait to find mine too!I am a beautiful dark brindle color that has gotten lighter as I've gotten older. I love to cuddle with people when they come to visit but I'm also playful. My foster mom says I'm the smartest puppy and that I am brave. I picked up on the litter box training very quickly and learn quickly from our Momma when we are playing outside. I also like to explore and you can find me at the head of the pack when we are exploring new places. We are learning a lot in our foster home. I even know a few tricks now! So far, I've mastered ""sit"" and ""leave it"". I learn quickly! I'm also working on walking on a leash! We've met a lot of people and kids and I do well with all of them. Plus, there is a resident dog here that I get along with too! I sleep quietly all night and am so excited to see my foster family in the morning. I can't wait until I have a family of my own! If you're looking for a smart, beautiful, affectionate puppy, I'm your girl!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
