A Great Pyrenees mix, George came to rescue after being found on the side of the road in rural Missouri with his brother Lennie. George is happy, playful and vocal. He talks to you when he wants something or gets excited. We think George has Husky in him as he has two blue/gray eyes. A charmer, George sits pretty waiting for food or attention. He likes to chew on carrots, ice cubes, and the occasional shoe. Among George's favorite activities are being outside, laying in the dirt, and barking at loud vehicles that drive by. An active puppy, George likes playing with his brother, our foster pup Zita, and the resident dogs in his foster home. At this point, he seems to want to chase cats. George loves every human he meets and sometimes gets so existed he jumps up. Ornery and independent, George is potty trained, however he is not yet a fan of the crate and will let you know. *Being fostered in Independence, MO* George is up to date on vaccines, up to date on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and microchipped. George will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with adopter promising to spay/neuter at a later date, and must show proof at that time. Adoption Requirements: A secure and visible fence. In order for your application to be approved, you must pass a home check and a vet check which includes having at least a two year vet history. Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states: Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Arkansas. We are able to transport to those states.
