Heartworm Prevention is given on the 1st of each month Meet Boris, one of our newest arrival to CTDR. Boris showed up at his finders home in horrible condition. At first it was thought Boris was a "she" ready to have puppies as his abdomen was so swollen. When the finder posted on social media and CTDR saw him, we immediately said we would take him into Rescue. We made arrangements for the finder to get him to the nearest Animal Hospital, where he ended up having 5 lbs. of fluid removed from his abdomen. Boris does have a number of health issues including a grade 6 heart murmur, His condition is guarded but CTDR is committed to providing the very best of care for him. Stay tuned for further updates.
