Animal Profile: Selena is an estimated 8 month-old 50lb female Great Pyrenees mix who was found in a field outside of Fresno and brought to the shelter. This girl is just a baby and already big so she'll likely be about 80 lb full grown. Shelter staff reports she is sweet friendly with all people and dogs. We will share more as we get to know him in foster care. Seattle Foster Update: Selena is a such a sweet and happy girl. She's fully house-trained and crate trained, and sleeps through the night without need for potty breaks. She's lower energy and loves to nap on the couch, getting a belly rub while you watch a show. She really loves people and would love a large sibling dog - she plays well with her two resident sisters and likes company when her people leave the house. She is great in the car and loves to run errands with you. She knows sit and touch and is very smart. When she came to us for fostering, she was very insecure about food, water, and sharing a bedroom and required careful strong human leadership to get over it. She now is great at sharing, but will need a disciplined family to make sure she doesn't regress and finished being a puppy with the right lessons. Selena is great in the yard and doesn’t bark at people, dogs or cars. She'll enjoy a fenced yard where she can snooze in the sun after an easy walk. She's a loving and terrific girl who will make any family complete.
