Description:

Charlie is about 8 years old and 50 pounds. He looks to be mostly Aussie with a bit of Golden Retriever. His coat is super soft and silky. He is exceptionally affectionate and gentle. He likes to be touched and squeezed and stays close to his person. He is social and gets along well with big and small dogs. He walks well on a leash and responds to minor corrections. Charlie gets excited to see people and has a tendency to jump when greeting people, however, he calms down quickly after he realizes that he is getting attention. Charlie is very tolerant of being handled and groomed. He stands still for brushing, nail clipping, haircuts, and even inspection of his teeth. He was very calm during his vet visit even around other dogs who were frantic. This rare trait makes him an ''easy'' dog who is good with children. Charlie was hit by car and has a fractured jaw and a bit of scaring on this leg. The vet says that the jaw is healing well and no medical intervention is required. He appears to be in no pain and is able to eat normally.
