"Happiness is a Hound in the sun." The family who adopts Buck will have happiness no matter what the weather! Buck is absolutely delightful! He is a happy-go-lucky Hound who looks at every day as a new adventure and he would love to share great times with you! He has such a zest for life and truly lives in the moment - there's a lesson there for all of us! Buck is three years old and weighs 54 pounds, so he is a great choice if you are looking for a medium-sized companion. He is so handsome with his brindle coat and white markings on his chest. We love his warm, merry and expressive brown eyes! Buck is an enthusiastic companion on daily walks and is glad to help you get your daily exercise. He is so agile and athletic! Buck would be a wonderful hiking or running buddy, too. We love how he will bring his favorite toy along on walks. Outings in the fenced yard are one of his favorite ways to spend the day. Buck bounds about happily and loves to play. He has so much fun with the toys. Buck also gives impromptu concerts by baying in total joy - it's better than a symphony or concert and is our favorite sound of music! He also enjoys hanging out with you for plenty of quality cuddle time. Buck is so affectionate and adores being around people of all ages. We love spending time with Buck and are staff and volunteers dote on him. One of our volunteers says: "Buck is such a joyful presence! He is so much fun to be around! Time spent in Buck's company is truly magical! He is the first dog I take out and it's the best way to start the day!" Buck went on an outing at a local park with one of our volunteers and had a great time. He loved exploring the area and splashing around in the water. Buck also rode well in the car. Buck will be such a devoted companion and the fun is guaranteed! He is a very special dog who will love being at your side during the day and curling up at your feet at night!
