Adopt Otis a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) / Mixed dog in Laingsburg

Otis is a 7mo old male pitbull. He weighs approx 40 to 50lbs. Otis came from a shelter so we don't know what life he led prior to coming into rescue. Otis finds his comfort in whoever he chooses as his person. He has a lot of love to give and just needs time and the right person who will help him adjust to his fears.I am not sure what happened to him in his short life. When meeting new people Otis will growl but usually accepts the person rather quickly. He will need his person to help him socialize with other humans so eventually he can overcome his fear of people. Otis has great listening skills and will come to you on command. He is very food and treat motivated (I mean who isn't 😉). He doesn't jump, isn't destructive, or aggressive. He walks well on a leash and is crate trained. He hasn't completely mastered potty training but his accidents in the house are becoming less as days go by. Otis is up to date on all vaccines and is neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative. Otis loves to play with his foster siblings and is great with humans of all sizes once he knows them. Otis has so much potential of being a great companion to the right person who is willing to help him overcome his very few flaws.
