***Our amazing shelter nonprofit, Saving Cheatham Animals: Mission Pawsible (SCAMP), will cover the cost Jules' lifetime medical care at one of the veterinarians they use.*** "My dear old dog, most constant of all friends." This quote makes us think of our lovely Jules. She is 11 years old and weighs 42 pounds. Jules is like sunshine on a cloudy day, or ANY day! She is our shelter golden girl and much loved by our staff and volunteers! Jules has that serenity of spirit that is so characteristic of senior dogs. She is very gentle, sweet and good natured and we adore spending time with her. Her coat is silky soft, and we enjoy petting her, which Jules loves. She is such a well mannered companion on daily walks and loves being close by your side. One of our volunteers describes her walking stye as a happy trot. Jules has an endearing habit of hiding treats to find later. She also enjoys her time in the fenced play area. Jules will eventually make her way over to you to hang out and enjoy the day with you. Jules recently went on a fun outing with one of our dedicated volunteers. She enjoyed visiting a local park, and her favorite part of the day was spending time wading in the Harpeth River. If you can open your heart and your home to a very special senior, Jules would love to meet you! She would do best as the only dog in the household where she can be queen of the castle!
