Just looking at Dobby, it’s pretty obvious how she got her name. We’re not saying her ears are her most prominent feature but… her ears are definitely… her most prominent feature!! This pretty young pooch came to PACC as a stray and has been winning everyone over with her sweet disposition ever since! A little shy at first, Dobby has come a long way and has come to look forward to visits from her volunteer friends. Here’s what one volunteer had to say:`I had Dobby and her kennel mate in the yard together for the first time recently. I had not spent any time with Dobby at all before. I found her to be such a sweet dog not only to me but to her kennelmate too. They both stayed right by me wanting pets and affection. Dobby even initiated and received kisses from her kennel mate periodically. They were really sweet together. I was very impressed with Dobby and found her to be so enjoyable. I look forward to spending more time with this sweet soul.`Dobby spent some time in a foster home- here’s what we learned:- Housebroken (always allow for adjustment in a new home)- Likes to sleep on the couch or her person’s bed- Smart and learning commands such as sit, shake and lay down- Playful and goofy- Loves rope toys and deconstructing tennis balls- Not a fan of vacuum cleaners or loud noises- Loves to be near her people and would like a home where her family is home often From her foster:“Dobby is a big couch potato. When she has a lot of energy she likes to run around, jump, and play. After a long walk, run, or play time, she will be ready to cuddle up on the couch again! She is perfect for someone looking for a sweet, mellow dog. We have left her home alone a few times for short periods and she has had no issues. It is so easy to fall in love with Dobby!”Dobby has shared her kennel during her time at PACC and was social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Dobby today!!
