Roger Caras observed: "For me a house becomes a home when you add one set of four legs, a happy tail, and that indescribable measure of love that we call a dog." This reminds us of Ethel, who will bring such joy to her new family. Ethel is absolutely adorable! She is two years old and weighs 39 pounds, so if you want to adopt a medium sized companion, Ethel could be the one! She is the sweetest, happiest dog who loves being around people! Ethel is a well mannered companion on daily walks and trots happily at your side. Once she is done, Ethel is ready for some quality cuddle time! She has such a loving heart and joyful presence, and we enjoy spending time with her. Ethel especially enjoys hugs! She will sit right beside you and truly savors you company. Ethel also looks forward to daily outings in the fenced yard, where she loves to run and play. She had a fun outing with one of our volunteers, and Jessica reports: "My sister and I took Ethel on a field trip to Percy Warner and Tailgate Brewery. She was so well mannered and easy going! Ethel knows how to sit, does well on a leash and in the car, and loves meeting people! She greeted every person on the trail and wanted to be everyone’s best friend. Ethel did well with my sisters dog Heide and all the other dogs we came across. Ethel is a great girl and would be an easy addition to any home!" Another volunteer observes: "Ethel is such a sweetheart! I love sitting on a bench in the yard with her, and she is a total love! Ethel is an amazing cuddle buddy with so much love to give!"
