Foster notes:Podge is SUPER sweet!! While she is a little shy and timid at first, once she opens up she is very gentle and loving. She is super sweet and gentle with our 4 year old daughter as well!! She gets along with the other two males we have. My husband and I have a Labrador (our personal dog) and are fostering another dog along with her who is male. She is getting along well with them! She will play but when she is done she just watches and will come on the deck and chill while the others are still playing. She is definitely calmer than the other two. She has learned how to jump up on the trampoline with my Lab as well. In the morning when I let her out of her kennel she just leans on me wanting to be loved on. She is super sweet once she opens up. Podge came into the shelter underweight. HOWEVER, she has gained weight!You cannot see her ribs or hips anymore. We also have been giving her some human food treats which she always takes super gently. She does love to lick you as a way of saying his and loving on you. Podge is gentle, and wants to be around her people. She just wants to be loved on. She does well in her crate at night! She has not messed up in her kennel after the first two days. I believe the first two nights it was due to anxiety which seems to be gone now.
