Heartworm Prevention is given on the 17th of each month UPDATE: Fred is a very mellow older gentleman. He takes his time doing most things. He doesn’t see or hear very well, so he startles easily, even when you move slowly and touch him gently. He never bites or growls, he just is surprised when we touch him. Aside from sleeping, his favorite activity is definitely eating, with rolling in the grass a close second. Walks with him are very short. Sometimes we don’t even get to the end of the driveway before he “digs in” and refuses to walk any farther. He’s a dribbler so he wears a belly band when inside. He is quiet and eager to please. He gets along fine with other dogs and is very content to just be near you and let life happen. Could Fred be your new best friend? Meet Fred, our newest senior gentleman to join the CTDR family. Fred was found late at night walking the streets all alone. The person who found him looked everywhere for his owners but no one came forward. CTDR was contacted to see if we had room for him and of course we jumped into action. We started Fred on his vetting process so he has received all of his vaccinations and now he just needs to have his eyes looked at and he will be ready to go.
