Hi let me introduce myself. I'm Savannah, a terrier mix. I live with my foster mom in Monroe Michigan, the SE corner of the state. I came into Project Hope Rescue after a rough start in life. You see I was born with funky front legs and walk like a drunken sailor. But it doesn't stop me from getting around or loving you. I love to be right at your feet all the time. Because of my birth defects I can't go on long walks, so I am a stay at home kind of girl. My foster mom said she has a doggy stroller that she is willing to let you have so I can enjoy your walks as you push me around. I get along with other dogs but they need to be my size because I get a little rough with my Chi foster sister. My foster canine brother and I do play for short periods of time. I have a funny overbite so it looks like I'm smiling all the time. I am a good girl, working hard on my housetraining. I get better every day. NO stairs, as I can't get up and down them. If you have a ramp that is perfect because I can get around, just not like most. I just want my own person to love.I'm 3 years young and came to Michigan for a new life from Alabama. I do like going outside and sunning myself on the porch, and when I am carried to the yard, I run around the yard although my foster mom says it looks like I'm hopping like a bunny. I do like to investigate in the yard and smell all the wonderful earthly smells.I am crate trained and go in without much fuss. When my foster mom goes out I spend the time in there and just relax and sleep. I have been using the doggy door at my home even though I look a little funny because my back end gets stuck.I am a sweet teenage girl that just wants to please my person. I will cuddle with you on the couch if you help me up. I do prefer having carpet or area rugs because I slip and slide on hard surface floors.Do you think you could be my person? I would love to meet you and see. I just want someone to look past my disabilities and see my beauty. Oh, I also love kids!Savannah is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped.
