Akaie was brought to the shelter by her owner. The shelter staff adored her. She was adopted but returned because the wife said she could not walk her. The shelter decided that not enough people in their area knew about the breed and reached out to ARMAC. We agreed to take her. She is selective about what dogs she does and does not like, somewhat predatory to smaller dogs. She is wonderful with people. All the transporters fell in love with as did the person she stayed with until she could be transported. She rode well in the car, listened when told to 'load up', was not initially happy being crated, but settled down. Stay tuned for more info as we get to know her better.
