Echo is a 2 to 3 year old 49 pound black and white terrier pit. He originally came to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/22. That time he waited patiently for seven months trying to get an adopter to notice him. Then on 5/23 he was adopted! He was so excited! Unfortunately, two months later he was brought into the shelter as a stray.. NOW he really deserves a break. It's hard for an active energetic boy to be confined. He absolutely loves toys and will even jump in our toy box in the yard to help himself. He entertains himself with the toys. However, he can be rough with them so the best toys for him would be hard rubber ones. He's very playful and fun loving. He loves everyone. He wants to please. He does sit for treats and takes them relatively gently. He would do best with an active family with a large yard and people to take him for walks and play with him. A family with children would be great. He walks fairly well on the leash. He wagged his tail meeting other dogs. He did his business when he got out into the yard. So if you're an active family looking to be entertained and to entertain a dog come and meet Echo. You won't be disappointed. Bonus: he's already fixed.
