We are told that Rex is housebroken and that he is compatible with most men, women, and children. He is used to car rides, being left alone inside, living inside, and having a fenced-in yard. He is fearful when another dog is mean to him. He knows the commands sit, shake, lay down, come, no, stay, and whistle, but he has had no formal obedience classes. He is described as easygoing, outgoing, friendly, active, likes water, playful, and hyper. We are told that he can be protective of his house. He is really in tune with his owner's body language and if the owner is okay with a person, he is okay with the person. He will roam without a fenced yard. He will occasionally bark, howl, or dig. He will occasionally jump up on people. He loves all toys and treats. He would do best as the only dog in the home.
