Adopt Glitter a White Great Pyrenees / Mixed dog in Portland, OR (38876347)

Location:
Portland, OR
Description:

Hello my name is: Glitter. My nickname is: Glitz or Puppers (that's my foster mom's name for pups when she forgets because there are so many in the house. Haha.)My breed is: Great Pyr/Mix and Im about 5 monthsMy favorite thing to eat is: I like to try everything and am still figuring out what I really loveMy favorite thing (being) to play with is: Cuddle and play with my foster siblingsMy funniest quirk is: I like to nibble noses gently if you let me. I also lean into legs when I go on walks (I like to stay close). And of course, there's my pyr paw when I want more cuddles or treats. What do I get in trouble for: Stealing my foster mom's slippersWhat I dislike the most: Being left out (of course). Also still a bit nervous in the car. What makes me unique: I have a set of double dew claws on one of my front legs (in addition to typical ones in the back)Where do I sleep: Next to my 10yo Foster humanDo I love car rides: Not yet but I behave nicely during themWhere’s my favorite place to go: Anywhere my pack goesDo I like cats: Not sure. I'd probably try to play with one, not eat it. Yuck! How I feel about my crate: I'm neutral. Sometimes I go in it when I need a break or want to sleep. Sometimes I reluctantly go in when foster mom needs to run errands. But I don't bark or whine. I just sleep. My perfect home would be: A home with a yard and another young and playful dog. Maybe some kids too. But lots of love. Definitely lots and lots.Other stuff you should know: I'm already house trained and leashed trained and haven't found my bark yet. I'm basically an angel. ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206 . PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS WHO ARE AT LEAST 50 POUNDS. Our requirements for puppy adoptions are simple and necessary. Our puppies are not livestock guardians, they are family pets that live inside of the family home. Puppies must be placed in homes with a youthful, adult resident dog of similar size. This gives the puppy a mentor and a solid foundation for becoming part of the family. Puppies are only adopted to homes with someone at home at least part of the day. If no one is home for 6-8 hours at a time, please do not apply. Preference is always given to those with Great Pyrenees experience. Applicants must have secure, visible fencing and a socialization plan in place. The fastest way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. Adoption is not first come, first served. GPRS and its fosters work diligently to find the right fit for each and every unique dog and puppy. Applicant’s personal pets must be current on vaccines & heartworm/flea prevention and be altered. Adoption fee: $450 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). Adopters pay the cost of transport services outside of Texas area. Transport costs depend on location and size of the Great Pyrenees adopted.GPRS has proudly placed thousands of Great Pyrenees and GP mixes in the PNW for over a decade. Our volunteers have over 100 years combined experience fostering, screening, and placing this majestic breed into loving, forever homes.
