Stitch is a red eared slider. This poor turtle was dumped into someone's trash can. How sad is that. Stitch clearly had not gotten the special care turtles need. Stitch is now much better and are ready for a proper turtle home. Turtles like to eat goldfish and sometimes dried fish and meal worms. They also like shrimp and pellets. Turtles like to eat crickets and mealworms with leafy greens and other veggies. They really enjoy a variety of foods! These neat pets do have unique housing, dietary and set-up needs so be sure to ask our adoptions counselors how to get ready to bring home Stich!
