Doug came to ECCHA as a stray found in the Hy-Vee parking lot. Doug is a gentle giant that would love nothing more than to find a calm, relaxing environment to reside in. Doug does great leash walking, but not for long as he easily sunburns. Doug's ideal day would be eating, a walk down the driveway then curl up in a fluffy warm blanket for the rest of the day! We feel a household with no other dogs or small children would be best for him as he is easily spooked/scared. We think with a slow introduction he could learn to live with cats. His adoption fee is has been partially sponsored by North of Eight Design and Marketing and is now $300 as he neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
