Adopt Gold a Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - with White Beagle / Mixed dog in Las

Location:
Las Vegas, NV
Description:

Gold is a sweet girl. She had to have FHO surgery on her leg. She is not that long post op, so she might limp still here and there, but it is healing nicely. She came to us through our rescue partners in the south where she was found with the injury. She is a sweet girl. we believe her to be 2-4 yrs of age. Gold is learning how to be a dog. She has learned what a dog treat is and how to eat one. She has learned how to play with dog toys. She has learned how to play with other dogs. She follows the other dog's lead on things. She loves to play with other dogs. She pulls on a leash really bad and she is strong, she is solid. We use a harness so that helps. She is learning how to leave other dogs bowls alone when eating. She is still learning about not dashing out of doors. (be careful or make sure there are gates at the doors) She does have some puppy tendencies and chews things she isn’t supposed to. She does not go on furniture. We have not seen her do stairs, we are not sure how she would do with stairs. Not cat tested or dog door tested. She has separation anxiety, therefore she will need a family that is home more and Gold growls at bigger dogs but only when Gold is on her dog bed, and bigger dogs are close to her, otherwise she doesn’t do it. Adoption fee is $300 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62.
